Only 17 More Days!!!

For the last 7 weeks after being hospitalized and put on bed rest, I have been so worried and praying that Addison stay in the womb and grow healthy and strong. God answered my prayers, along with many others!!! Now, we are only 17 days away from her due date (July 10th). I am VERY ready for her to come now! I had a doctors appointment today, and I am 60% effaced and 1 cm dialated, so she's on her way soon! I think I need to go pack my bag and Addison's for the hospital. We can't wait to meet her!!!

We are so blessed!!!

We are so blessed to have the most amazing family and friends. Recently, my mom and sister Jennifer threw Jon and I the most wonderful couples baby shower. The majority of our family, and most of our closest friends were able to share in our special day and excitement as we anticipate the arrival of our baby girl. We had so much fun!!! We enjoyed great company, food, and cake, played fun games, and received TONS of wonderful gifts for Addison. The guys had a bottle drinking contest to see who could drink 'juice' out of a bottle the fastest. That was quite entertaining to watch! Colin drank the entire bottle in 16 seconds!!! He left everyone else in the dust! We also played a game where everyone had to guess the size of my belly and cut a piece of yarn that they thought would fit around my belly. My grandmother and Chasidy guessed perfect. Jon was and inch off. Brooks thought my belly was the size of a whales!!! And thanks Laura....she gave me a Barbi sized waist!!! Addison is such a lucky baby girl to already have so many people that love and care about her! We can't wait for everyone to meet her!!!
